Thank you for visiting the Internet home of Montrose Baptist Church! We are a growing small membership church with a big heart for each other, our community, and our world. Our great desire is to exalt Christ and expand His kingdom by keeping the Great Commandment (Love God, Love People) and fulfilling the Great Commission (Develop fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ).
If you're interested in joining a multi-cultural, caring community of Christ-followers, a community which highly values both right teaching and right application of God's Word, I invite you to take part in one of our many opportunities for the week:
We offer Bible-in-Life studies for all ages on Sundays at 9:30 AM, Sunday worship at 10:45 AM, Pioneer Clubs and youth groups on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM, and home Bible studies on Thursdays at 7:30 PM.
We open our arms to the community by hosting the City of Chicago Department on Aging's Golden Diner's Club for seniors every weekday from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM (hot meals served at noon).
We are also pleased to host the Boy Scouts of America: Cub Scouts on Mondays at 7:00 PM, Boy Scouts on Thursdays at 7:30 PM, and Venture Crew (co-ed) every other Thursday at 7:30 PM.
Our ethnic worship services include Korean worship on Sundays at 1:00 PM (Tenant), Polish worship on Sundays at 5:00 PM, Roma worship on Sundays at 7:30 PM (Tenant), and Ghanaian worship and fellowship on Saturdays at 7:00 PM.

SLOW AND STEADY FINISHES THE RACE
Dear Friends and Family,
This October I'll be participating in the 30th running of the LaSalle Bank Chicago
Marathon. More importantly, I've joined Team World Vision Chicago to raise money for
World Vision's important Community Development and Relief work in poverty stricken regions
of Africa.
World Vision is a Christian Humanitarian Relief and Development organization dedicated to
helping children and their communities reach their full potential by tackling the causes
of poverty. As a part of Team World Vision, I am participating in the LaSalle Bank Chicago
Marathon to raise awareness of current needs in Africa while raising funds to assist World
Vision in their efforts in the region.
The suffering is immense and the issues are complex, but I am confident that together we
can make a meaningful difference!
You can join me by making a donation. Just click one of the links next to the picture on
my page, a link to which is below:

Both Team World Vision Chicago and I thank you in advance for any support you can give.
