Holy Week 2020 finds us in the middle of the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic. We cannot say it more clearly than to put it in all caps: PLEASE STAY HOME. This is not only for your own personal safety but for the safety and health of others, including healthcare workers, first responders and all serving on the front lines of this present crisis.
We will be broadcasting all services online via Facebook Live, YouTube Live and Zoom Conference.
Palm Sunday, April 5, 2020
On Palm Sunday we will celebrate King Jesus! This virus has a spiked ring of proteins on its surface that resembles a crown, hence the title of “corona.” Let's not crown a virus with our fear. Let's crown Jesus with our worship! Let's crown Him with many crowns! Join us online for celebration services at 10:45 AM and 7:30 PM. We'll also be hosting our Bible studies at 9:30 AM and 6:30 PM. After the worship hour we will celebrate communion together.
Maundy Thursday, April 9, 2020
Set aside an hour to read and meditate upon the Gospel of John chapters 13-17. Ask yourself: How can I serve others as Jesus has served me? How can I love others as Jesus loves me? Give thanks for the Holy Spirit, and rejoice in Jesus' prayer for you and me in John 17:20-26. If there are others in your home, reenact the example of Jesus by taking up the basin and towel and washing one another's feet. I'm not kidding - literally wash their feet! I guarantee this symbolic act will create a memorable household experience! :)
Good Friday, April 10, 2020
We are going to share our traditional Good Friday service via live stream and conference call at 7:00 PM. Be sure to have grape juice and crackers on hand so we can celebrate the Lord's Supper together!
Virtual Easter Egg Hunt, April 10-13, 2020
While we will be postponing our Easter Eggstravaganza outreach, get outside (weather permitting of course) and pray for your neighbors. Reach out with Jesus' love. Share a kind word. Invite someone to our online Easter Service and enjoy a virtual online Easter Egg Hunt you can do with your family.
Here is your Virtual Easter Egg Hunt. Click Start and once finished click Finish. Once submitted your family will be sent a surprise in a few weeks.
